Bravo Battery, 2/319^th Artillery was the direct support battery for the 2/506^th Infantry on Ripcord. Capt. Dave Rich commanded B Btry. Rich was severely wounded during the siege and later received the Distinguished Service Cross for his gallantry. Despite being a constant target of enemy gunners, and suffering a number of wounded men, B Btry. lost only one man KIA during the siege.
